- Main duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the footwear’s design, mainly for leisure, developing strategic seasonal collection and styling from concept to finished artwork.
2. Drive design and product category directions to meet whole collection and brand identity in targeted markets.
3. Collect, analyze, and research information on Fashion Footwear trends and style preference, to ensure the products are adapted relevant to customer specific requirements.
4. Conduct seasonal design presentations.
5. Prepare cost analysis on product development and ensure within budget.
6. Work closely with developer, merchandiser, and factories to facilitate development processes. Assist team doing preparation before sales meeting.
7. Doing marketing investigation, Collecting & Analysis fashion news, submit seasonal product proposal to brand, which including product direction, material trend, popular color trend, style analysis and product design direction.
8. Seasonal Material sourcing, color/material selecting/matching according to aesthetics before making sample spec.
9. Design & complete all product sketches which following up GTM calendar, which link US brand DNA & Local market demands. Assistant branded project manager complete version line plan with all details by styles.
10. Working with international brand Designer/Merchandiser. To get all sketches are approval. Modifying some details which combining branded & buyer comments together.
11. Assistant Product development team to complete all prototype samples, checking and modifying if there has anywhere need adjustment.
12. Clearly set up sales points of each style, story of each series with brand projection manager and marketing/sales team.
13. Finish superiors arranged job.
1. Degree / Higher Diploma or Above in Footwear Design, Fashion or related discipline preferred.
2. Good command of English
3. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in footwear design in domestic market
4. Strong sense of Footwear fashion trend & colour up
5. Creativity with good fashion sense and design knowledge
6. Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with fashion trend & color matching.
7. Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc
8. Knowledge for shoe making whole process, and familiar with process of Product development and Technology part.
